Course Title: Creating Quality Clinical Experiences
Course Description: This course is designed improve the quality of your clinical experiences by reviewing the rights, responsibilities, and protections for the student and clinical instructor (CI). After review of the professional behaviors occasionally displayed by students during their clinical experiences, you will explore strategies for mentorship and learn how to foster your connections with the student to align expectations. Through analysis of the Four Tendencies Framework, you will first, analyze ways to strengthen interpersonal relationships and communication strategies among the interdisciplinary team and second, become better equipped how to respond those professional behaviors.
