Join us for an informative CEU presentation by Kali McGregor, PT, DPT, ATC/L, PCS - "You're Already Doing Pelvic Floor PT With Your Kiddos & You Didn't Know it!"  This course is pending CE approval.

Objectives:

  1. Attendees will learn how the bowel and bladder function, which key muscles support the
    overall health of these organs, and why physical therapy works for this population.

  2.  Attendees will learn how to screen pediatric patients on their existing caseload to identify
     red flags which may necessitate a referral to pelvic floor physical therapy.

  3.  Attendees will be able to perform and teach exercises and interventions which support
     the health and function of the pelvic floor

  4.  Attendees will demonstrate an understanding of how pressure management affects
     pelvic floor function, and which interventions are most useful to address related issues.

 

 Get to know the Speaker: 

Kali A. MacGregor, PT, DPT, ATC/L, PCS

Kali graduated with her DPT from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2009 and moved to Florida to build her PT career. While she gained early experience in outpatient orthopedics and adolescent sports rehabilitation, as well as ICU, trauma, and inpatient rehabilitation, she felt the pediatric world pulling her in more and more. She served a variety of families at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital for over 12 years, spearheading speciality programs and research in Torticollis & Plagiocephaly, and later building out and expanding the Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation program to exceed best practice with a solid foundation in evidence based medicine. She departed JHACH in 2024 to create her own private practice focused on delivering the best possible custom care for kiddos struggling with pee, poop, and other complex medical challenges. She is an energetic and passionate clinician, who loves her patients as though they were her own kids, and dreams of creating a world that provides healthcare solutions that better serve each family's unique needs in a holistic manner.
